  7. This month we provide the first in a two part series of metric conversion templates.  If you need to convert between metric and standard systems of measure these AppleWorks GS templates are for you.

  9. The templates in the first part of this series are: AREA.GS, VOLUME.GS, and WEIGHT.GS.

  11. They all work the same way.  Each has a number of different units you may convert between.  The conversions are performed by moving right until you find a table with the units you'd like to convert FROM at the top.  Now enter the number of that unit, and the units below will recalculate. Simple!

  13. These templates will prove invaluable to the AppleWorks GS dependent instructor.  Students will also find it an easy way to do their calculations.

  15. Select File Copier (OA-F) from the File menu to copy these templates to your own disk.  To load them into AWGS from the /SDGS.1 disk open the GS.TEMPLATES folder and our templates are yours for the clicking.
